ISDN – The BIG SWITCH OFF
The end of the line for copper services
As part of the Big Switch Off, the UK-wide stop sell on 5th September means that copper-based services such as ISDN are now no longer available for purchase.
Pre-existing legacy services can still be used until switched off in January 2027, but you cannot source any new services, or modify existing ones.
Businesses are now being operationally impacted by this, increasing project budgets and extending timelines. The sooner you act, the fewer hurdles you will face such as reduced options, increased disruption and higher costs.

Your current mobile provider can arrange a Port Authority Code (PAC code) to enable the switch to Elite. When Elite process your new contract the PAC is submitted, and we transfer your number at a time convenient to your business (Monday to Friday).
